Abyssinian
Body: Medium long, elegant, firm, lithe, showing well developed muscular strength, solid to the feel.
Tail long and tapering, broad at base. Legs to be sinewy, long and slim. Feet small and oval.
Slender neck.
Head: Modified wedge with slightly rounded contours. Firm chin; nose medium in length;
profile gently curve.
Ears: Large, set wide apart; wide at base with moderately rounded tips. Ear inner furnishing and
,,thumb print" markings are desirable.
Eyes: Large, brilliant and expressive, slightly almond shaped, set well apart. Eye colour to be pure, clear,
intensive amber or green. For silver varieties green is preferred. In all colour varieties eye lids are
encircled by the ticking colour (eye line).
Ticking: Double, or preferably, treble ticking, i. e. two or three bands of colour on each single hair. The ticking
to be evenly extended all over the body, free of any barring. The spine line, the tip of tail and heels are
intensively coloured in the ticking colour. Chest, underside of body and inside of legs showing base
colour without any ticking.
Texture: Short, fine and glossy with slight undercoat, but dense, resilient and close lying.
Faults: Broken necklace; grey or too light undercoat colour; lack of ticking; barring on front legs; ghost
markings; no line of dark pigmentation round the eyes; white elsewhere than chin.
Faults excluding the CAC: Unbroken necklace, white locket, barring on all four legs, too much
grey undercoat.

American Curl
Body: Medium sized cat with medium strong boning and moderately developed musculature.
Elongated slender body; legs of medium length with round paws. Long tail, broad at base
and tapering to a slightly rounded tip.
Head: Longer than its width and wedge shaped. Strong chin, fine lower jaw forming a gently
rounded muzzle. Slightly curved profile.
Ears: Large ears; set medium high; straight upright from ear base to 2/3 of height, then curving
back in a smooth arc to a tip swivelled backwards and to the centre of the back of the head
(1/3). Tips curved and flexible, may not touch the back of ear. The angle of inclination is to
be from 90 up to 180 degrees.
Eyes: Large and slightly slanted, walnut-shaped (the upper lid oval, the lower round); Any colour is accepted.
Coat: Short , silky, close lying, resilient, with hardly any undercoat.

the base and tapering to a slightly rounded tip.
Head: Short, blunt wedge, contours gently rounded. Pronounced cheek bones, set wide. Distinctly curved profile. Strong chin and lower jaw.
Ears: Large, set wide apart, slight forward tilt; broad at the base with slightly rounded tips; the outer line
of the ears continuing the shape of the upper part of the face.
Eyes: Large and set wide apart; the top line of the eye showing an oriental slant towards the nose, the
lower line being rounded. Eye colour any shade from yellow to amber.
Coat: Very short, fine and glossy; close-lying and has hardly any undercoat. In all colour varieties the underside of body is slightly lighter coloured than the back. Body colour shows distinct pattern,
the points being evenly slightly darker, when compared with body colour.

Bengal / Snowbengal (Seal-Lynx)
Body: Medium to large sized, muscular cat, long and sturdy body. Legs medium in length, also
muscular and substantial. Paws large and round. Tail medium in length, thick, with rounded tip.
Head: Massive skull, slightly longer than it is wide, muzzle full and broad. Profile slightly curved, head contours rounded . Neck long and strong.
Ears: Small to medium size, slightly tilt forward, with rounded tips and thumb print.
Eyes: Round and oval; set wide apart and slightly slanted . All eye colours but blue and aquamarine
are accepted. The eye colour of the Snowbengal (or Seal-lynx) is deep pure blue.
Coat: Short and dense, glossy and silky (like fur).
Colour Varieties: The Bengal shows a distinct, spotted or marbled pattern. Markings may be seal or brown, extremely contrasting with a golden orange ground colour. The Snowbengal (or Seal-lynx) is a colourpoint .
The point colours are the same as in the Bengal. The colour on the body is slightly lighter in shade. But unlike other Siamese patterned cats, there is a light colour shading and pattern according to

British Shorthair
Body: Medium to large sized cat, muscular and compact. Chest and shoulders broad and massive.
Neck short and strong. Legs short and muscular; paws thick and round. Tail medium in length,
thick with rounded tip.
Head: Rounded, massive, broad skull with firm chin. Nose short, broad and straight; curved profile
without any stop. Cheeks full and chubby. The big round whisker pads give the short muzzle
a definite outline.
Ears: Medium in size, broad at the base, slightly rounded at the tips and set wide apart.
Eyes: Large and round, set wide apart. Colour conforming to coat colour.
Coat: Short and very dense, not close-lying. Standing away from the body by means of sufficient undercoat, creating the appearance of plush pile; texture crisp and not woolly.

Tail long and straight, with a rounded tip .
Head: Wedge-shaped skull, with prominent cheek bones and eye brows. Forehead flat with numerous
wrinkles. Profile with a definite curve to the straight nose of medium length. Muzzle medium long
and rounded , with slight muzzle break. Chin strong
Ears: Large, with rounded tips. Set high, slightly tilted forward. Outer edges of the ears continue the
lines of the head. The distance between the ears to be not more than ear width.
Eyes: Medium large, almond-shaped, slanted. Any colour allowed.
Coat: The skin is elastic , with pronounced wrinkles on the head, neck, belly and legs. It may be
covered with slight fluff or be totally bare. Whiskers are desired. Legs, feet, tail and muzzle
can be covered with slight coat not longer than 2 mm. Totally bare cats are preferred.

Egyptian Mau
Body: Medium sized, slightly elongated and muscular body, but still slender and elegant. A loose skin
flap from the belly to the hind leg. Legs medium in length, paws dainty and slightly rounded. Tail

Head: Moderate wedge with slightly rounded contours without flat planes; slightly curved profile; nose
of even width from bridge to leather; muzzle of medium length, not pointed; firm chin and lower jaw.
Ears: Large and erect; set wide apart, broad at the base with slightly rounded tips.
Eyes: Large and almond shaped, slightly slanted; eye colour gooseberry green.
Coat: Short, dense and resilient, silky texture. In the colours bronze and black silver the texture is dense and resilient, in the colour smoke fine and silky.
Colour Varieties: Bronze, black silver and black smoke are accepted colours. The pattern is a contrasting, clear
spotted, in the varieties bronze and silver with ticking. In the variety bronze the ground colour
is dark to light bronze, almost golden; neck and stomach ivory; spots dark brown to seal. The
eyes and nose leather are rimmed in seal, the paw pads are dark brown to seal. The nose leather is brick red. In the variety black silver the ground colour is pure silvery white. The spots are black.

brick red. In the variety smoke the ground colour is smoke with tin coloured roots; neck and

Kanaani
Body: Medium to large sized cat, displaying the look of an athletic, well-muscled, yet graceful animal.
The legs are also muscular and long ; paws compact and oval; tail long, rather strong at base and tapering.
Head: Placed on a slender, relatively long neck, in the shape of a broad triangle, with large wide set ears;
the space between the ears to be not less than the width of an ear at its base. Flat plane between
the ears. The cheek bones are visible. No pinch. The slightly domed forehead is continued by a straight nose without any evidence of stop. Muzzle slightly flattened; strong chin.
Ears: Large, wide at the base and pointed; lynx tips desired; set upright and wide apart; thumb print.
Eyes: Large, almond shaped; set wide apart and slightly slanted . The eye colour is always green in
adults; yellow-green is tolerated.
Coat: Short, close-lying with little undercoat. The texture is coarse rather than fine Siamese-like. The
hair is long enough to display ticking in the ground colour as well as in the patter. The ticking is essential but not as pronounced as to let the spots disappear.
Colour Varieties: Black, chocolate and cinnamon pattern on the beige or cinnamon ground colour, softened by
ticking. Spotted and marbled are the allowed patterns. Silver in any variant is not allowed.
Faults: Oriental appearance.
Notes: The following outcrosses are allowed: Kanaani, spotted varieties of the Felis Lybica, spotted
Bengal Cats and spotted OSH of the old type. This rule is valid until 2005. Kittens born after
01.01.2006 may only have Kanaani as parents. This period is extended until 01.01.2008.

Sphynx
Body: Medium in size, rounded and sturdy, yet comparatively fine boning. Rib cage broad and massive, abdomen rounded. Legs also with fine boning , yet muscular and strong. Front legs widely set because of the broad chest. Paws oval with long toes (monkey fingers). Tail long and slender,
whippy and bare. A small puff of hair on tip (lion tail) is accepted.
Head: Medium-sized angular skull, hardly longer than wide, in the shape of a slightly rounded modified wedge. Strong rounded m uzzle with muzzle break, well developed whisker pads and prominent cheekbones. Profile curved. Neck medium long and muscular.
Ears: Striking large size, set wide apart; broad at base, interior is totally hairless. Slight amount of down
on the base of the backside of the ear is allowed.
Eyes: Large, lemon-shaped, slightly slanted . The distance between the eyes to be slightly more than an
eye width. Eye colour harmonizing with skin colour.
Coat: The skin is just covered with light down. It feels like human baby skin and has the same function. Wrinkles on the forehead, legs and throat. Slight hair cover on the muzzle allowed. Whiskers are desired.

Faults: Strong resemblance to either Devon or Cornish Rex is considered a severe fault.

Kurilian Bobtail
Body: Compact, muscular, back slightly arched, rump slightly raised. Strong legs, hind legs longer than
the front ones, round feet. The tail is composed of one or more kinks or curves or any combination thereof. Visible length without fur from 3 to 8 cm. The coat on the tail is longer than on the rest of
the body (Pom- pom-effect).
Head: Large, in the shape of trapezium, rounded in contours, wide at the cheekbone level. Slightly curved profile; medium long muzzle, rather broad, with gentle contours. Well-developed chin.
Ears: Medium sized, wide at the base, slightly tilted forward; set wide apart and medium high. Distance among the ears is equal to ear size. Ears are rounded at the tips and open at base .
Eyes: Rounded, set wide apart and slightly slanted. Eye colour to be pure and harmonizing with coat colour.
Coat: Short, with well developed guard hair and moderate undercoat .

Body: Solid, compact, medium sized cat. The back is very short, ending in a rump ideally as round as
an orange. Muscular legs, short front legs, standing well apart to display a broad chest. The
hind legs are higher than the front legs. Deep flanks are an important feature of this breed.

Ocicat
Body: The body is medium to large, elongated, strong and muscular, but supple, the rib cage is well developed. Straight back, flat sides. Medium long muscular legs with oval feet. Tail long, medium strong, tapering slightly to a dark tip.
Head: Modified wedge with a smooth curve between cheeks and muzzle; slightly curved profile. Long
broad muzzle, with a distinct muzzle break. Strong chin and lower jaw.
Ears: Medium sized, set neither high nor low. Ear tufts desired.
Eyes: Large, almond shaped, set wide apart and slightly slanted. All colours except blue are allowed. The eye colour to be harmonizing with coat colour.
Coat: Short, glossy and silky close lying, without undercoat.
Coat colour: The Ocicat is spotted. The spots should be large and round, form rows along the spine and extend down the legs as far as possible. On the sides the spots are arranged in a bull's eye pattern. Broken necklaces on the throat, broken bracelets on lower legs. All hairs but the tail tip are ticked. The bands in the pattern are darker, those in the ground colour are lighter. Lighter ground colour on the chin, lower jaw and on the underside is allowed. The Ocicat is recognized in the colours Black (Tawny) Spotted, Blue Spotted, Chocolate Spotted, Lavender Spotted, Cinnamon Spotted, Fawn Spotted and
in those with silver.
Faults: Elongated spots arranged in mackerel pattern; too heavy bone structure. White spotting leads to disqualification.

Russian Blue
Body: Medium sized cat, medium strong and muscular build, slightly elongated, graceful in outline and appearance; neck slender and long; long legs, paws narrow and oval. Long tail, slightly rounded

Singapura
Body: Comparatively small cat, has a strong, compact and muscular body. The rib cage is well developed,

Coat: Short, dense, fine and close-lying. The sepia-agouti colour is accepted. The ground colour is ivory, ticked with warm brown bands. Double, preferably treble ticking, i. e. two or three bands of colour on each single hair. The ticking to be evenly extended all over the body, free of any barring. The spine line, the tip of tail and heels are coloured in the ticking colour . Chest and stomach show the unticked ground colour. The inner legs can show some faint barring.
